Her writings reflect a passion for health and wellness, a commitment to learning, and a desire to share information with the world about how to lead our healthiest lives. Originally from Hungary this student of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition reflects on the importance of her community and and her purpose. “I have learned about the enormous gap between what’s communicated to be healthy in the mainstream media and what actually is health promoting and my work in this life is to help lessen that gap. Nature provides us with everything we need. We mustn’t let our egos tell us anything different.”

Anne-Marie Bonneau

Meet Anne-Marie Bonneau. Anne-Marie promotes the benefits of living a simpler life for your health and the planet. Stemming from her own personal experience, a shift in focus to simplicity has brought joy, health and happiness to Anne-Marie’s world. Her expertise in cooking, baking, and fermenting led Anne-Marie to author a a cookbook and launch a global blog, showing others how to be the change. “I began to create simply as a means to retain my sanity. I had to take action. That action became my blog. I know my individual actions alone won’t save the world but by the same token, the ripple effect is real. People have told me they have been inspired to make changes in their lifestyles. We desperately need change at the top but that won’t come without pressure from the bottom. We need individual change and we need systemic change and we can have both: We can walk and chew (plastic-free) gum at the same time.” Anne-Marie has lived plastic-free since 2011 and shows others how reducing their trash not only benefits the planet but also satisfies their taste buds, improves their well-being and boosts their bank accounts. Anne-Marie’s communication style on the Environmental Guilt Syndrome blog is as inspiring and entertaining as her sourdough starter, Eleanor. 🙂
