Provenance of Dish
Foraging and dining on chanterelles with my daughter will continue to be a tradition for years to come. We love them all over a beautiful steak or pork chop and keeping it simple is best practice. She and I created this one together!
Recipe
Ingredients
1 Tblsp Butter
1 clove Garlic minced
1 lb Chanterelle Mushrooms
2 tsp Kosher Salt
2 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Thyme
1/2 cup Marsala
1 Cup Heavy Cream
Instructions
Heat Butter in a pan and add garlic.
Toss in chanterelles, season with salt pepper and thyme. Cook for 6-7 minutes on medium high.
Add marsala and allow to reduce by half.
Turn down heat and add cream.
Simmer for two minutes then pour on top of your favorite cut of meat!
